Privacy Policy

This is a personal profile and portfolio site run by Edwin (Discord: @tuffedwinho.), based in Stockholm, Sweden. This policy explains what information the site handles and why. It is written to follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Browsing the site

You can read the whole site without an account. There are no ads, no analytics trackers and no marketing cookies.

2. Signing in with Discord (vouches only)

If you choose to leave a vouch, you sign in with Discord. Discord asks you to approve the "identify" permission. That gives this site only:

• your Discord user ID,
• your username and display name,
• your avatar image.

The site never sees your email, password, servers, messages or friends list.

3. What a vouch stores

When you post a vouch we save your Discord ID, username, display name, avatar link, star rating, chosen topic, your written message and the date. Vouches are public: anyone visiting the site can see them. Your Discord ID is stored so each account can only leave one vouch and so you can edit or delete it later.

4. Cookies and local storage

• vouch_session: an encrypted cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days after Discord sign-in. Strictly necessary; removed when you sign out.
• Local storage: the site remembers in your own browser when it last saw Edwin's Discord status change, to show "online for / offline for". It never leaves your device.

5. Third-party services

To show live info, your browser connects directly to these services, which may see your IP address like any website does:

• Discord for sign-in and avatars.
• Lanyard for Edwin's live Discord status and current song.
• Spotify for the "listen along" player. If you press play, Spotify's own privacy policy applies to that player.
• Open-Meteo for Stockholm weather.
• Google Fonts for the site's fonts.
• Vercel, which hosts the site.
• Supabase, which stores vouches in its database (EU, London).

6. Why we use your data (legal basis)

Vouch data is processed because you chose to post it (consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). The sign-in cookie is needed to provide the feature you asked for. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your vouch.

7. How long we keep it

Your vouch stays until you delete it, or until Edwin removes it (for example, for breaking the Terms). Sign-in cookies expire after 30 days.

8. Your rights

You can see, edit or delete your vouch yourself at any time: sign in and use the Update or delete buttons. You can also ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, or object to processing, by messaging Edwin on Discord or using the email link on the home page. If you're unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

9. Children

Discord requires users to be at least 13 (or older where local law says so). Don't leave a vouch if you're under that age.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change too.
